10 Best Dining Tables for Modern Homes

During my Instagram Q&A yesterday, a follower asked me for the best dining table recommendations and I wanted to provide some more. Johnny and I agree, our dining table is one of the most impactful pieces of furniture we’ve bought for our home. We saved up for six months before purchasing, and hosting our family and friends around it for meals is a true gift. It’s a piece we’ll have for many, many years. You and your loved ones should experience the same joy and comfort in your home!

I am such a fan of how much lighter blonde woods look in a home. Homes are often filled with many sharp corners, so I love all of the rounded edges of this dining table as well. The fluted texture really makes it feel current as well!

I find many of the best dining tables have distinctive details that set them apart. This one is mid-century yet industrial and mirrored accents are truly unique! Plus, the price is incredibly reasonable.

Marble is one of my favorite materials. I love how it brings out so much warmth with this dining table especially! The tonal, multi-media look when paired with the iron legs is simply stunning.

This is one of the most affordable dining tables here. I like how the sintered stone tabletop resembles marble and my favorite part is actually the cutouts in the steel base! Such a sculptural touch.

The simplicity of this dining table is truly beautiful. The extendable design makes it a great option if you enjoy hosting or may move one day.

I am stunned by the craftsmanship of this table. Each one is unique as it’s handcrafted in Italy from locally sourced travertine. Every edge and curve makes a true statement.

I had to include our own table on my roundup of the best dining tables! Three years later, we still absolutely love it. The construction is incredible and it extends to an amazing 118 inches.

This table seats four, making it perfect for a small apartment. As you move, you can move it into a breakfast nook or even an entryway. It’s a beautiful, sculptural piece that really speaks for itself.

I am in LOVE with the design on this table’s walnut veneer. The brass takes it one step further. Honestly, you don’t even need placemats, flowers, etc. because it’s just so stunning on its own.

What I appreciate most about this dining table is the balance of classic with the top and modern on the bottom. At first glance, it’s subtle, but it’s truly a standout table.
